Yeah, I saw the bright light today and it almost blinded me.
These are caps from C-ute's new PV Tokkaiko Junjo.
Dohhh UP! has it already but not yet in HQ. But you get the idea. And keep your sunglasses on!
This is the turning point. Jump to the next level.
Only one word: WOW!
Before the year end 2005 Berryz Kobo released yet one single. It was done with line-up of 7 girls after Maiha had left the group earlier that autumn.
Gag 100kai Bun Aishite Kudasai was released on November 23rd. Song was from anime movie Eiga Futari wa Precure Max Heart 2: Yukizora no Tomodachi. I've never seen this movie but I know that Mari Yaguchi & Saki are there as voice actors. Mari also sings with Berryz on single's second song にぎやかな冬.
I don't count Gag 100kai Bun Aishite Kudasai among my All Time Favorites. Myabe it's too monotonic for me. Same thing with the PVs although they have their moments. Girls are very cute in original PV when they hold those love letters. Miya's & Chinami's pink furry brimmed hats are so cool.Violet & pink colored dresses in dance shots are also OK. And when talking about dance version, must say that I like those takes where girls shake their tails. ;)
By the way, right after this single Berryz released Special! Best Mini ~2.5 Maime no Kare~, which had 6 earlier songs, included also Gag 100kai Bun Aishite Kudasai. It was kind of Best of Berryz compilation and release date was 7th December 2005.
Nijuuichiji made no Cinderella was Berryz Kobo’s 8th single released on August 3rd 2005. It was also Maiha Ishimura’s last appearance on group’s record before her graduation.
Cinderalla is very catchy song with hyper energetic PV. Berries are wearing sporty colorful outfits those I think matches quite well with the speedy song.
In the beginning of this PV girls are playing something and it always leaves me wondering what they are actually doing there. Best part of the PV is when Miya shakes her hips. Heh he, can’t help it. She is striking some excellent pose there… once again. Let's party! Kampai!
I like almost all Berryz PVs and especially special versions of them. Group's 7th single Nanchuu Koi wo Yatteruu YOU KNOW? is not an exception for that although I love both versions of video in this case.
Nanchuu Koi wo Yatteruu YOU KNOW? came out on June 8th 2005. It's a song about uncertainty in love. Berries are holding their cell phones and reading & sending text messages with inquiring looks on their faces. Yep, this is not the happiest Berryz song but it's melancholic undertone does it. I love the song and I love the video.
The PV itself has a very cool choreography where Miya shines once again. Her dancing there is so... captivating that my eyes almost don't call any attention to others around her. Except Risako. She is getting better and better PV after PV.
When I saw this clip first time I was wondering why the hec girls are pretending to play basket ball in song's middle part. Today I see it as an indivisible part of this PV and concert performances.
I see Special Generation, Berryz Kobo's sixth single, as a turning point in this groups career. Berries are stepping out of their childhood life with this song. Girls are growing up & learning fast. This ongoing evolution shows clearly in SG song and even more distinctively in it's PV. Song itself is a super catchy tune with rocking arrangement. And PV gets your breath away with it's intensive, powerful and hot choreography.
Special Generation is also a turning point for me. Before this song I thought that Berryz Kobo is only bunch of kids who sing childrens songs. In those days I hardly paid attention to Berryz. But then came SG and the rest is history.
SG was released on 30th of March 2005. It's one of the best Berryz songs and has sold over 24 000 copies. It's Berryz second best selling single so far right after Very Beauty.
As always, besides normal PV version SG's video single has two extra clips: a Dance Shot Version and Making of documentary. I think Dance Shot is even better than the original PV.
SUP-PE-SHA-RU JENEREeeeSHON LOVE!
Only two and a half months (Nov 10th 2004) after Happiness Berryz Kobo released their 5th masterpiece Koi no Jubaku. I think I'm always saying this when I talk about Berryz singles but... I really love also this song. ;)
PV of this song has clear confrontation: First there is this dark class room where girls mostly look uncertain & unsure of themselves. Then there is white brightly lighted hall where they dance smiling with very colorful clothes on. The contrast between these two scenes is drastic.
Must also be mentioned that the second version of this PV gets me always happy. If I've had bad day I watch this Smile version special video. Girls are just singing the song in this video and camera stands in it's place; not moving, zooming or anything. This video was shooted in one take. Look how they sing and have fun in this clip.

Piriri to Yukou! single was released on 26th May 2004 only one month after Berryz second single came out! What a quick tempo they had in those early days.
I love Piriri PV. Girls chanting in a school bus and dancing on outdoor stage set. Wardrobe girls are wearing is also cool. Berryz do Piriri (almost) in every concert tour. Another Berryz classic!
